PRICE UPDATES

We are updating our membership prices so that we can keep innovating in challenging market conditions. These updates will help us continue delivering a good value and high quality gym experience for our membership community.

Qualifying members will receive an email explaining what the price change means for their membership, including specific information about their membership rates and billing dates.

  • First and foremost, the whole TBLDN team wishes to express its gratitude for your continued support of our amazing, locally owned and operated gym space in Kentish Town.

    We want to thank you for being part of the incredible community here, as much as we are a gym, over the years the TBLDN team have been overwhelmed with the kindness, spirit and true sense of community that has been established in our four walls. The Basement LDN is a place for building ourselves up from the inside out and making friendships along the way.

    TBLDN opened its doors in 2020 and, to date, has successfully resisted the decision to not increase rates for its existing members at all. This is despite the staggering increases in operating costs (owing to higher energy prices and ongoing instability across global economies). TBLDN does not take lightly the impact that such things have had on its members, and we have always sought to minimise the exposure of these additional financial burdens from our community by doing our upmost to streamline business practices and absorb additional costs where we can.

    TBLDN has taken the decision to carry out a price increase as a means of taking stock of the realities of the continuing increase in costs of operation, these include day to day overheads such as rent, maintenance, utilities, staffing and more. After refraining from any membership adjustments over the last few years, including since the beginning of the energy crisis in August 2021, it is now necessary to ensure the survival and operation of the Club, and to provide the service we aspire to, and to enable us to reinvest and continue to raise the standard of facility we offer our incredible members in Kentish Town.

    TBLDN endeavours to carry out its business activities with transparency and integrity and, in the spirit of this, we have provided members with information of the increase with significant notice to allow members the time they need to make the best decision that is suited to their needs. Our team is here to help you make the decision that is best for you and answer any questions you have along the way!

    Should you decide to terminate your membership and stop using the Club, we completely understand. Our Cancellation Policy is accessible here, and should you have any questions please direct them to our team at info@thebasementldn.com. While we will be gutted to see you go, we sincerely thank you for your custom, your membership with TBLDN has been massively appreciated by the TBLDN team and has contributed to the very community we celebrate in the gym today.

  • TBLDN offers a variety of membership package options to ensure there is something for everyone’s needs in the Club. Please feel welcome to reach out by email to info@thebasementldn.com to get more information about other membership packages, and switching to a different package option.

    If you do not wish to continue with any membership, you may give notice to cancel your membership via email to info@thebasementldn.com, or our Cancellation Form. TBLDN has provided with sufficient notice, so that you may give notice to cancel in line with our Cancellation Terms such that your final billing date can be at the old rate, before it increases in October 2024.

  • You will have recently received an email from the TBLDN team notifying you of your membership rate change. This email includes your billing date. If you are unsure, please send an email to info@thebasementldn.com and a member of the team will confirm your billing date via reply.

  • Yes of course. Please send an email to info@thebasementldn.com asking for your billing date to be changed, confirming your new preferred billing date. A member of the team will confirm the change of billing date via reply.

  • Your membership will freeze over the same period as previously notified to you via email. Nothing in this regard will change. If you have any concerns about this, please email us at info@thebasementldn.com.

  • Your membership will cancel down in accordance with the dates as previously notified to you via email. Nothing in this regard will change. If you have any concerns about this, please email us at info@thebasementldn.com.

  • We warmly ask you to direct your questions to our team by email (info@thebasementldn.com). This is so we can ensure that correct team members are able to assist you with your query and provide you with the information you need. Our front of house team are not trained to handle in-depth, detailed questions about memberships.

    Verbal abuse or disrespect directed towards any members of our team in light of the price change will not be tolerated.
