DAILY EQUIPMENT INSPECTION CHECKLIST

This checklist is to be completed DAILY. You should do this checklist at a time when the gym is quiet so that you have time to go over equipment thoroughly. This checklist is designed to communicate to management any faults, damage or concerns regards equipment and fitness machinery.


Before commencing checks, you should note that:

Aesthetic Damage may include: Scratches, dents, deformities, scuffs, cracked screens, broken parts, infographics rubbing/peeling off, visible signs of decay to the point where the equipment is no longer fit for purpose.

Mechanical Damage may include: Frayed / damaged cables, mechanisms not moving smoothly, tight pulleys / stuck cables, sticking / jamming mechanisms, metal / clanging noises, irregular resistance.
