All Members and Guests must comply by these Club Rules at all times. Refusal or continual non-compliance with these Rules may result in the Club user being ejected from the premises and termination of Membership if applicable.
The Basement LDN (“TBLDN”) reserves the right to make changes to the Club Rules from time to time, and any changes will be effective immediately. Copies of these Rules can be obtained from reception or from the TBLDN website.
Any Guests to TBLDN premises are required to sign in at reception. Guest visits are at TBLDN's absolute discretion, and availability may be restricted at peak times. TBLDN reserves the right to charge a Guest Fee for all non-Members wanting to use Club facilities.

All Guests will be asked to allow for their temperature to be taken prior to entry. Temperature checks take less than one second, by looking at a screen. If a Guest’s temperature is too high, that Guest will be asked to rearrange their visit for another day.
All Guests agree to abide by these Club Rules, and failure to do so may result in the Guest being ejected from the Club.

TBLDN will not take any responsibility where a Club user sustains injury from incorrect use of equipment. If any equipment is found to be faulty or malfunctioning prior to exercise, use of said equipment is not permitted and members are asked to report the fault to TBLDN staff immediately so that it may be sectioned off until an engineer visit has been arranged by TBLDN.
Club users who damage equipment or gym fixtures and fittings will be held liable for any and all damages and losses (including any required replacements and installation fees), including consequential loss arising out of and connected to any such damage, including but not limited to the cost of repairs and loss of revenue as a result of temporary closure of the facilities.

6. CLASSES AND USE OF THE TRAINING PODS
TBLDN timetables, instructors and classes are subject to change at any time. TBLDN will use its reasonable endeavours to provide notice when a class is unable to take place for any reason.
While all Club Members may use a micro-studio space (each a “Training Pod”), Premium Members have priority use of the Training Pods. A Premium Member will have the right to ask for use of a Training Pod, in the instance where all the Training Pods are at capacity and some or all Training Pods are being used by Classic Members. To ensure Training Pod availability, Premium Members are recommended to liaise with a member of TBLDN staff to ensure that a Training Pod can be made available for that Member’s preferred allotted time. All Members, including Premium Members agree that access to the Training Pods is not possible when the studio space is being used for in-house classes.
In-house classes may be booked online via the Member’s portal. TBLDN operates with a "two strikes" non-attendance rule, whereby failure to attend a pre-booked slot for a class on two occasions within any 30 day rolling period will result in a one-week booking restriction. A member must cancel a class booking at least one hour in advance of the class to avoid receiving a strike.
If a participant arrives late to a class, entry to the class may be denied at the absolute discretion of the class instructor.
If a class is full a member can book onto a waiting list. An email will be sent confirming the Members place on the waiting list. When a space becomes available members will be automatically moved into the class and notified via email. Once on the waiting list Members are committing to attend and could be auto booked into the class up to 1 hour before the class start time. If you decide you can no longer attend please remove yourself from the waiting list as a strike will be applied in line with our class cancellation policy.
7. SAUNA AND STEAM ROOM
Sauna and steam room access is strictly for exclusive use by TBLDN Premium Members only. Premium Members will be provided with an access code upon becoming a Premium Member. This access code is required for each Premium Member to gain entry to the sauna and steam room areas.
Before use, all Club users should thoroughly read the sauna and steam room safety poster on display in the sauna and steam room area. Club users should wear swimwear (or other appropriate clothing) and use a towel whilst in the sauna and / or steam room, for the health, safety and comfort of other Club users. No other items should be taken into the sauna, including mobile phones, other electrical devices, books, newspapers or other paper items which can create a fire hazard.
Tampering with, or the adding of water, oil or any other liquid to any part of the sauna or steam room mechanisms by any Club user will not be tolerated. Failure or refusal to comply with these Rules and the relevant safety poster or dress code may result in the Club user being ejected from the facilities and TBLDN may terminate the user’s Membership with no refund of fees already paid. Club users found to be damaging or tampering with the sauna and steam room facilities will be held liable for any and all damages and losses, including consequential loss arising out of and connected to any such damage, including but not limited to the cost of repairs and loss of revenue as a result of temporary closure of the facilities.
8. LOCKERS AND LOST PROPERTY
The majority of lockers in Club are for day use only; Club users are required to provide their own padlock or can purchase one from reception. TBLDN strongly advises all Club users to lock their belongings in a locker at all times that they are using the Club's facilities.
There is limited availability for permanent lockers, which can be hired for ongoing use. Pricing of permanent locker hire is available from the Club office, upon enquiry. Payments for permanent lockers must be kept up to date at all times.
For any day lockers left padlocked overnight, or permanent lockers not paid for up-to-date, TBLDN reserves the right to cut the lock and remove items from the locker. Members will need to see reception and pay a recovery fee equal to one month’s locker rental charge at TBLDN, to gain access to their belongings.
Property cleared from lockers, or left on the premises, shall be held for between 10 – 31 days, dependant on storage available onsite. Unclaimed items are donated to charity.
TBLDN takes no responsibility for loss, theft or damage for any items brought into the Club. TBLDN takes no responsibility for theft resulting from unauthorised forced entry into lockers. TBLDN strongly recommends Club users to avoid bringing valuable items to the Club where at all possible.
TBLDN advises all Club users to report any theft of items to the police. TBLDN agrees to cooperate fully with any police enquiries, at all times using its reasonable endeavours. By using the locker facilities all Club users agree and accept that upon loss, theft or damage to belongings, TBLDN will not by default conduct an internal investigation. Any internal investigations will be conducted at TBLDN’s full discretion.
